However, I would guess that is more appropriate for very high volume B2C / retail type blogs-to-RSS-to-newsletter-to-monetization.

We cater to the B2B industrial market, so it's probably not on-target for my blog readers.

Also, many email marketing services offer RSS to email newsletter delivery… but not the monetization part. For instance, MailChimp.com offers an RSS to email newsletter blast, which I use for my email list.
